City of Dallas employees celebrate Diversity Month

City of Dallas employees celebrate Diversity Month

City of Dallas Employees are celebrating the City’s vibrant, progressive and diverse workforce with Diversity Month. From October 11 through November 6 there will be several events for employees to learn about different cultures, values, and beliefs.

Diversity Month is hosted by the City’s six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): AAACE (Asian American Association of City Employees), HACER (Hispanic Association of City Employees for Results), BEST (Black Employees Support Team), LGBT Employee Association of Dallas (LGBT), Generation Now, and Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG).

The City of Dallas continuously works to maintain a diverse workforce in order to assure that employees are a direct reflection of the citizens in Dallas.
