City Facilities Closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

City offices will be closed for business on Monday, January 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. However, certain departments are operating on modified schedules that day. Their information is below.

Sanitation

• Sanitation Administrative Offices are closed
• McCommas Bluff Landfill and Bachman Transfer Station open to the public
• Week 3 brush/bulk trash collection will begin Monday, Jan. 21
• Garbage and recycling collected for Monday residential customers

Municipal Court

• Court will resume Tuesday, Jan. 22
• Full payment of fines will be accepted at the Dallas Marshal’s Office at 1600 Chestnut
• The postmark will be honored for payments by mail
• Visit courts.dallacityhall.com for online court date requests or payments
