The Dallas Police Department (DPD) has a vision of advancing 21st Century Policing efforts. DPD Office of Community Affairs is kicking off 2019 with a new community engagement initiative, “Listening Tours.”
The police department will listen to questions and concerns directly from community members, and gather information from citizens. The Listening Tour is DPD’s way of making time and creating space to hear from the residents they serve each day.
This initiative will allow DPD to gain insight and collect data on how they can be effective in community outreach and engagement efforts.
If you have questions, concerns or suggestions, representatives from the Dallas Police Department, Dallas ISD Police Department, North Dallas High School Faculty, DART Police Department, and Code Enforcement will be available onsite.
The first Listening Tour is Tuesday, February 5, 2019 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at North Dallas High School, located at 3120 N. Haskell Ave. Dallas, Texas 75204.
